Why do you want to be a physician assistant?

Enjoy medicine but also like the close relationships PA’s can establish with their patients.  

Why DMU?

I loved DMU because of the amazing facilities like Sim lab and SPAL preparation. Also I the faculty are genuinely invested in me as I am in them.  

Career objectives:

At this point I like every section we have covered but I am looking towards orthopedics and women’s health.  

Extracurricular activities:

Working out, shopping  

Favorite thing about Des Moines:

Faculty. They are all so helpful and really want you to succeed!  

What do you do when you’re not studying?

SHOP – I love shoes  

How is DMU family friendly?

If you are ever having any problems they are always available no matter what time day or night. Also your classmates are in this with you and everyone helps out when they can.  

Were you surprised by anything in the program?

It really is intense but you can make it! 

 Any advice for prospective students?

Once accepted into the program make sure you take some time for yourself before starting school because once you start its all or nothing!
