MCAT
All candidates for admission to CPMS are required to complete the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) prior to enrollment. Applicants who plan to complete the MCAT in the winter or spring are strongly encouraged to submit an application prior to taking the test so that admission evaluation is not delayed. The Dean and/or Admissions Committee may review this requirement with exceptional circumstances.
Prerequisite Courses
Most applicants have completed an undergraduate degree by the time of registration. Candidates may, however, be admitted after completing 90 semester hours of undergraduate work.
To qualify for admission, students should have a cumulative and science grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. View our class profile page to learn more about our students.
Foreign Students
CPMS accepts qualified students from countries outside the U.S. Residents of foreign countries wishing to apply for admission are advised to spend at least one year at an accredited college or university in the United States. During this time, students can adjust to the cultural and academic practices in the U.S. For more information see our International Student page.
