At the end of the academic year, the Exploring Post holds a banquet to thank the presenters and showcase the past year’s activities. Family members are encouraged to attend.
Additionally, Learning for Life holds an annual banquet to recognize the numerous Exploring Posts in the Mid-Iowa Council. Certificates of Appreciation are awarded to each Post member and the Young American Award winners and Leadership Award winners are recognized. Additionally, plaques and trophies are awarded to Advisors and Sponsoring organizations at this time. In the past few years, this banquet has been held at Des Moines University.
