Daniel Deavers, PhD, Professor of Physiology/Pharmacology--you will get to have an electrical tracing of your heart done, called an ECG.  It tells you more about the functioning of your heart.  You get to keep the ECG!

Experience the world of Emergency Medical Services!  We will explore the inside of a local ambulance and take rides in one.  Parents or guardians are welcome as well!

We will meet at our usual place on campus in Ryan Hall room 181 and travel to the Mercy School of EMS

Learn about International Medicine!  Jolene Kelly, PA-C, Director of the Physician Assistant Program and Kassie Szajna, second year medical student, will be talking about their experience volunteering with a medical mission in Belize last summer.  They will discuss the challenges and successes of this rewarding trip.

Visit the Anatomy Lab!  Dr. Craig Canby, Ph.D., Professor of Anatomy, will be taking students through the Human Anatomy Labs at DMU.  Students will have an opportunity to put on gloves and see what it’s like to be a medical student in the Anatomy Lab.  This is a unique opportunity for our post members that few people ever get to experience.
