Provide updates in diagnostics and treatment of health care problems affecting trauma patients.
Upon conclusion of this series, participants will be able to:
- Discuss updated medical diagnosis and treatment strategies utilized in the area under discussion.
- Apply principles of evidence-based medicine in the practice of trauma care.
- Articulate factors that guide the formulation of a management plan in the trauma patient.
- Identify the importance of a team approach to diagnosis, overall treatment plan and follow-up care.
Each program will offer clinical examination of various topics related to trauma. Approximately 45 minutes will be devoted to the didactic portion of the program, including case presentations, followed by 15 minutes of open discussion. For further information, call Jennifer Platz at 515-643-2555.
