Provide current updates in diagnostics, management and care of patients.


Upon conclusion of this series, participants will be able to:

  • Appraise and discuss diagnosis and treatment.
  • Incorporate current guidelines, clinical updates and research into clinical practice.
  • Apply principles of evidence-based medicine in the formulation of treatment of clinical scenarios.
  • Identify resources available in the literature to expand knowledge in the area under discussion.

Educational methods

This program will offer clinical examination of various topics of contemporary interest. Approximately 50 minutes will be devoted to the didactic portion of the program, including case presentations, followed by 10 minutes of open discussion.

Target audience

Physicians, nurses and other interested health professionals.
