Welcome to the Postprofessional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Des Moines University. DMU's unique online program allows you to continue practicing as a physical therapist while advancing your education. The online format lets you complete your degree in the comfort of your home or office while connecting you with other physical therapists from around the nation. You will be exposed to varying practice patterns and the expertise of these physical therapy colleagues.
The program specifically prepares students for autonomous practice by strengthening clinical decision making skills, enhancing overall business knowledge, introducing health promotion and prevention strategies and also further developing your manual skills. This focus on clinical application along with the freedom you have to choose your own projects will let you put your new skills to work immediately.
