PA Program Director
Welcome to the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program at Des Moines University. Established in 1981, it became the first PA program to be offered at an Osteopathic Medical School. Since its inception, the program proudly has a success rate on national board exams that exceeds the national average and consistently graduates high quality health care professionals.
Our program is dedicated to the development of the very best providers in health care. As you explore our curriculum and clinical opportunities for students on this site, I'm sure you will see a dedication to ensuring our students are grounded in the basic sciences, preventative medicine studies, clinical medicine topics and have exposure to the latest in technology for health care students. Our students have the opportunity to interact with all programs on campus in learning about and developing the multi-disciplinary teams that are needed in today's health care environment.
I encourage you to visit our campus and to tour the facilities, meet with the faculty and admissions personnel and see that DMU is the place for you to start your career in medicine.
