Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Faculty Position Available
Des Moines University is seeking a full-time faculty member within the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery to support its mission of academic excellence and quality patient care. Faculty members will participate in university courses for students and maintain a clinical practice within the Des Moines University Clinic to support educational priorities.
All candidates must possess:
- A degree in podiatric medicine
- Residency training plus board qualification or certification by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
- Licensure, or eligibility to gain licensure to practice in Iowa
- Valid state and federal narcotics licensure or eligibility to gain licensure
- Eligibility for malpractice coverage by the guidelines of the University's malpractice carrier
- Membership in good standing among all professional and governmental organizations
- Prior academic experience desirable
