2001- Thomas Chung, D.O., is a general surgeon in the Navy and holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He is currently stationed at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Rota, Spain, and is the only surgeon on the base. He is accompanied by his wife Michele and their three children, Katelyn 7, Tyler 5, and Christina 2.

1989- Robert Suter, D.O., gave a lecture on the "Future of Emergency Medicine" at the Society of Emergency Medicine of India meeting in Chennai (Madras), India. Dr. Suter has also been selected as a Fellow of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. Currently, there are less than 20 Fellows in the program from the U.S., and less than 100 worldwide.

1971- Melvin Koplow, D.O., has two new websites that provide medical information: www.DrMDK.com, "a pediatric office without walls," which provides information on a number of subjects from early childhood development to adolescence and www.VidTest.com, a website of testimonials from various physicians.

1968- Robert Hand, D.O. '68, received the Broward County Osteopathic Medical Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, for his mentorship of Osteopathic physicians. Dr. Hand is past president of the Broward County Osteopathic Medical Association and of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
