Physical Therapy Alumni
Currently DMU has over 500 alumni practicing in over 38 states across the country. Alumni can now further their education by receiving a Post-Professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.

Each year the division, along with the Alumni Office, holds events at the Iowa Spring Conference, the APTA combined Sections Meeting and the APTA national conference.
Physician Assistant Alumni
The PA program at DMU has produced over 440 graduates in its 20+ year history. The alumni practice in over 35 states across the country.

MPH/MHA Programs
The MPH and MHA programs are comprised of alumni who have earned a Master's Degree in Health Management (MHA) or a Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH). DMU has over 350 alumni from these two programs who live and work in over 30 states, but primarily in Iowa. Alumni from the DO and DPM programs can earn a dual-degree in either of the two programs. There are over 60 dual-degree alumni.
Alumni work in many areas of healthcare including: county and state health departments, academic institutions, insurance companies, inner-city clinics, rural and metropolitan hospitals, policy-making agencies, long-term care facilities, government and many other realms of healthcare.
Events are held for alumni from the division to interact with university staff and administration at many local association meetings and trade shows, including: Iowa Medical Group Management Association, Iowa Public Health Association, Iowa Hospital Association, and the American Public Health Association.
