DMU 5k
Join Des Moines University students, faculty, staff and alumni for the DMU 5k on Saturday, August 9. This is the first year for what will be an annual event held in conjunction with reunion weekend.
To beat the August heat, the 5k will begin bright and early at 6:30 a.m.
The route begins at the circle entrance of the Academic Center, 3440 Grand Ave., and meanders through scenic neighborhoods south of Grand Avenue. Water will be provided on the course and refreshments will be available immediately following the run/walk.
Treatments will be provided to race participants by 2nd year DPT students, and DMU’s Osteopathic Finish Line following the race .

Packet Pickup
Race packets can be picked up on Friday, August 8, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Student Education Center's Alumni Court, 3300 Grand Ave., or the day of the event, 5:30-6:20 a.m. at the start line.
